Is there a walk to fit in with your schedule?

We offer multiple walks throughout the week and you can choose any that fit around your schedule. If our availability is full, we will look towards offering more sessions. Weekend and evening walks are available too.

How do I book?

You will need to register an account with us via our website. Once your account is created you can then book a taster or beginner session.

What equipment do I need?

A full equipment list is available on our website, with links to our online store. To take part in the beginner or taster session, all equipment is provided and then your instructor can discuss the best poles for you on completion of these sessions.

Monthly subscription – £24.99 (inclusive of unlimited walks)
Pay as you go sessions are also available
Power of Poles – £15
Average session – £7 per session
Taster session – Free of charge

Can I cancel my monthly subscription?

When you sign up for a monthly subscription there is a minimum of three months before cancellation.

What’s a Freedom Passport?

Provided on completion of the learn to walk/power of poles beginner session. Allows you to join on Nordic Walking groups across the UK.

Do we require any previous experience?

No, everybody is welcome, and all abilities are catered for.

Health conditions

Nordic Walking is beneficial to a numerous health conditions, when signing up participants are required to fill in Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) and anything highlighted on this can be discussed with the instructor prior to beginning.

Will my walk be affected by the weather?

No, we aim to continue our walks in most conditions unless it is unsafe to complete the session.

Covid Safety Measures

• All walks conducted within groups as per government guidelines
• Social distancing at 2 metres (or 2 poles apart) is observed wherever possible
• All equipment is sanitised before and after each use
• Walk leaders carry a Covid-19 pack (which includes PPE) with them at all times
